Chief Operating Officer of BDA Partners Group

BDA Partners is an boutique investment banking firm advising mostly on cross-border M&A transactions involving Asia. I joined the company as an investment banker but was promoted to COO in 2013 and moved to the back office. From here I had broad responsibilities including corporate strategy, compliance, planning, CRM, analytics, HR, training, IT, marketing & brand, PR, and cyber-security.

This was my first post in the C-Suite, and learning how to execute while managing multiple stakeholders across the globe was a formative part of my career.

Highlights

• Rose from intern to Group COO in only 3 years; the youngest ever member of the Executive Committee at age 28

• Delivered and executed a business plan to double global revenues in 3 years

• Led the successful authorisation of several offices working with financial regulators in London (FCA), Hong Kong (SFC) and Dubai (DFSA)

• Launched sophisticated CRM platform (Salesforce) globally and used it to transform the company into a modern, data-driven organisation
